This video was filmed on November 23, 2011. In her speech, British Colombia Premier Christy Clark announced that the number of impaired driving deaths had dropped 40% thanks to stronger penalties for this offence.

The Premier also announced $40,000 in funding in 2011 to establish Alexa's Bus, an initiative to promote impaired driving prevention and enforcement.

Presented in cooperation with road-safety advocates, this event marked the National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims in Canada.
